Stress Reliever

High school is a tough place to be. Most of us just want to graduate and move on with our lives by the time we are a senior. Don't get me wrong, I love high school but it can be at times really stressful. College applications, homework, social life, sleep, sports, work, etc. The list goes on and on. My life is jam packed and it seems like I don't really have free time until about 9 o'clock at night. Stress just builds up. I feel like I don't have enough time for everything. I start to go crazy and get a little anxious. I finally found something that calms me down, makes me happy, and I can still be productive while doing so.......photography. I absolutely love it. I create art. My own art. My mind just goes blank and I can take pictures of whatever I want. It is glorious! I just want to take pictures ALL day! I forget everything and breathe. It is something I look forward too and actually make time in my day for. My mind does go up in the clouds but I am learning. I love it! Photography helps me out when I need it the most. It is of course, lots cheaper than a therapist. I take pictures when I am sad, happy, angry, bored, hungry.... stressed. It doesn't matter what mood I am in. Taking pictures helps me. If you haven't tried photography or you think you aren't good enough, just try it. If no one else loves your pictures but you do that is all you need, to be happy with yourself and what you can do. Plus, there is always room for learning and excelling if you practice and experiment.
